Working at a university I find that I often leave the office with lower back and sciatic pain. I have another memory foam cushion that I have tried from a different brand, but it always goes flat on me after about an hour, and now 2 months after receiving it, it doesn't renew to it's original thickness.

It is a high density memory foam so it's still soft, but it is firm and keeps it's shape even with people over 300 pounds. The bottom is lined with plastic/rubber style button texture that keeps it from slipping off the chair and the cutout provides help with spine alignment and relieves a lot of pressure from the tailbone that can cause serious sciatic problems. the grey "furry" texture is nice because it doesn't show a lot of lint or collection of debris so it looks slick and professional even after constant use.
